How to Request Data Deletion
Option A — Via Facebook Settings
You can remove our app and request data deletion directly from your Facebook account:
- Log in to Facebook and navigate to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- Locate Guardian Engineering FL LLC in your list of connected apps.
- Click Remove to disconnect the app from your Facebook account.
- When prompted, select the option to have your data deleted.
- Click Send Request to submit the data deletion request to our systems.
Note: When you submit a deletion request through Facebook, our system automatically receives the request via a secure callback and begins processing. You will be provided with a unique confirmation code and a status URL to track your request.
Option B — Via Email
Send a data deletion request directly to ops@guardianengr.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request." Please include your full name, the email address associated with your account, and any relevant account identifiers (such as your phone number or project reference) so we can locate and process your request efficiently.
Option C — Via Our Website
Submit a data deletion request through our website by visiting GuardianEngr.com/contact and selecting "Data Deletion Request" as the subject of your inquiry.
Option D — Via SMS
If you are enrolled in our SMS communications, you may reply DELETE MY DATA to any message from us to initiate a data deletion request. Our team will follow up to confirm the scope of the deletion.
4. What Happens After You Submit a Request
Once we receive your data deletion request, we follow this process:
Acknowledgement: We will confirm receipt of your request within 5 business days. For Facebook-initiated requests, a confirmation code and status URL are provided immediately.
Verification: We may verify your identity to protect against unauthorized deletion of your data. This may involve confirming your email address, phone number, or other identifying details.
Processing: Upon successful verification, we will initiate deletion of your personal data from our active systems, databases, and any third-party services we control.
Completion: Deletion will be completed within 30 calendar days of the verified request. You will be notified upon completion via your preferred contact method.
Scope of Deletion
Upon an approved deletion request, we will permanently remove the following from our systems:
- All personal profile information (name, email, phone number, profile picture)
- Facebook Login data, including your app-scoped User ID
- SMS communication records and opt-in preferences
- Session data, login history, and usage analytics tied to your account
- Any project-related data associated with your personal identifiers, unless subject to legal retention requirements
6. Data Retention Exceptions
In certain circumstances, we may be required or permitted by applicable law to retain specific data even after a deletion request has been approved. These exceptions include:
Legal & Regulatory Obligations: Data required to comply with applicable federal, state, or local laws, regulations, legal proceedings, or enforceable governmental requests.
Fraud Prevention & Security: Data necessary to detect, prevent, investigate, or address security incidents, fraud, or illegal activity.
Contractual Obligations: Data required to fulfill an existing contract, complete a pending transaction, or comply with professional engineering recordkeeping requirements.
Aggregated & Anonymized Data: Data that has been fully anonymized or aggregated such that it can no longer identify you may be retained for analytics and service improvement purposes.
If any exception applies to your request, we will inform you of the specific reason and the expected duration of retention.

Facebook-initiated requests: Use the confirmation code and status URL provided when your request was submitted.
Direct requests: Contact us at ops@guardianengr.com and reference your confirmation code or the email address used for the original request.
We aim to respond to all status inquiries within 15 business days.
