By accessing or using Guardian Engineering FL LLC's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
Guardian Engineering FL LLC provides residential private provider services under Florida Statute 553.791, including plan review and inspection services for eligible single-family residential projects in Florida.
3. Eligibility
Our services are available to licensed contractors, property owners, and other authorized parties working on eligible residential projects in Florida. Users must provide accurate information and comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
4. Scope of Services
Guardian Engineering performs plan reviews and inspections as authorized under F.S. 553.791. We do not issue building permits, waive local ordinances, or replace the authority of local building departments. Final permit issuance and Certificate of Occupancy remain the responsibility of the local enforcing agency.
5. Fees and Payment
Service fees are as quoted at the time of engagement. Payment terms will be specified in individual service agreements. All fees are non-refundable once services have commenced unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and complete documentation, ensuring site readiness for inspections, and complying with all applicable codes and regulations. Delays caused by incomplete submissions or site conditions may affect service timelines.
7. Limitation of Liability
Guardian Engineering FL LLC's liability is limited to the scope of services provided and the fees paid for those services. We are not liable for delays caused by third parties, including local building departments, or for issues arising from inaccurate information provided by clients.
8. Professional Liability Insurance
Guardian Engineering maintains professional liability insurance as required by Florida law for private provider services.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
